Ensure departmental asset and inventory counts. Report on Bas/Logis reconciliation on monthly basis. Maintenance of the departmental asset & inventory register. Manage the implementation of SCM systems and ad-hoc asset & inventory management projects at districts/institutions. Handle Audit queries regarding assets & inventory management. Assist with financial procedures and reporting for Monthly, Annual and Interim Financial Statements. Identify and provide training needs to districts or institutions. Provide on and off site support to end users. Ensure asset and inventory management policies and procedures compliance at District/Institutional level. |

High level of computer literacy, including advanced application on Logis, MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Ability to train people in asset and inventory management. Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, including numeracy and accuracy skills. Knowledge of and exposure to the PFMA, Treasury Regulations and relevant Instructions. Extensive knowledge of Asset & Inventory Management. |

Remuneration:
|
R 316 791 per annum - R 373 167 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
