A minimum of 3 years’ appropriate experience in Dietetics after registration with the HPCSA. |

Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dietician. |
|
|
Coordination, facilitation and provision of nutrition and dietetic services to both in- and outpatients. Establish and implement guidelines to promote and maintain healthy nutritional practices. Therapeutic feeding: Apply dietary measures as part of the treatment of a patient referred or in consultation with a registered Medical Practitioner. Supervise, support and evaluate subordinates and development of staff and students. Ensure efficient and effective management of resources, including management of budget. Administration, including collecting, compiling and presenting statistical data and monthly reports. |

Registration with the (HPCSA) as Dietician. |
|
|
Sound knowledge and understanding of dietetics and health service related acts, legislation and policies. Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Communication skills (both written and verbal) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. |

|
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Ability and willingness to be available for emergencies/mass incidents. |

Remuneration:
|
R 466 199 per annum - R 517 326 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
