Experience:
Appropriate supervisory experience in a HR environment.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of PERSAL and MS Outlook. Computer literacy (MS Office package). Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think pro-actively. Sound knowledge regarding matters related to the post.

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Supervise, plan and co-ordinate the section regarding: All leave matters, service terminations, pension administration, state guarantee applications, housing allowance applications. Assist with grievances/auditing of HR files, approve transactions on PERSAL, writing of submissions on HR matters and ensure that the HR matters are addressed according to HR instructions. Provide advice to Line Managers regarding conditions of service and benefits as well as terminations. Responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of staff in terms of the Performance Management and Development System.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 257 508 per annum - R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
