Administer the PPO system within the Western Cape Government Health. Render effective support and assistance to staff of the Infrastructure Finance Component. Compile and capture journals and payments. Detect and correct incorrect accounting entries. General office administration and ad-hoc duties. Manual and electronic filing of documentation. |

Appropriate Project Portfolio Office knowledge. |
|
|
Computer proficiency (MS Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint). Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge and experience of the Basic Accounting System (BAS). Knowledge and experience of the Project Portfolio Office (PPO) System or Similar Infrastructure Project Management System. Infrastructure related expenditure. Problem solving, lateral thinking skills and able to work both in a team context and independently. Ability to work under pressure, be honest, responsible, reliable and diligent. Good interpersonal and communication skills. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post. |

Valid (code B/EB) driver’s licence. Work outside normal office hours. Willingness to work overtime if required. |

Remuneration:
|
R 173 703 per annum - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
