Experience:
Appropriate experience in a health environment and working with clients.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Deliver an effective administrative support service to members of the health team. Perform relief duties as requested in the Nursing Department in the hospital. Complete daily, weekly and monthly statistics, report, data capturing and file documents according to the filing system of the department. Order ward stock on LOGIS and assist with asset control. Relief duties of other clerks as required. Perform administrative duties, e.g. record-keeping of all nursing personnel activities, faxing and photocopying. Answer telephone and arrange appointments.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge or experience of the LOGIS and Clinicom (Hospital Information) systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).

Remuneration:
R 173 703 per annum - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
