Appropriate experience in a Fees/Case Management related environment. |

Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Knowledge of Hospital Fees Memorandum Chapter 18, UPFS, HIS, Clinicom, AR, JAC, Finance Instructions. Good communication skills (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Strong sense of confidentiality and trustworthiness. Good interpersonal and organisational skills. |

|
Preparation, submission and finalisation of RAF claims. Administer deselected and discontinued RAF claims. Render a client service to private attorneys following up invoices on behalf of their clients. Follow up Medical Aid statements. Follow up outstanding Medical Aid Invoices in line with Hospital Fees Manual Chapter 18 and related Finance Instructions. Collect revenue on outstanding hospital accounts. General fees administration and account related duties/enquiries. Render a client service. Check, debit and/or credit invoices as per UPFS and billing requirements. Daily filing, including Patient Registration and Discharge Forms. Control EDI, including rejected claims and rejected eligibilities. Control JAC Information and Error reports. Submission and finalization of SANDF and Correctional Services invoices. Finalization of credit balances. Support to Case Managers. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post. Control JAC Information and Error reports. |

Remuneration:
|
R 173 703- R 204 612 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
