Appropriate experience as an administrative clerk or ward clerk in a hospital setting. |
|
|
Knowledge of human resource management, labour relations and the nursing agency tender process. Effective leadership, interpersonal, problem solving, decision making, and conflict resolution skills. Good organisational skills and the ability to function under pressure. Ability to function independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office package, Logis and Clinicom. Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Plan, co-ordinate and maintain an optimal administrative support service for the Nursing Component. Effective management and utilisation of human and financial resources to ensure optimal operational functioning of the Nursing Administrative Support services. Initiate, co-ordinate and participate in training and development of the administrative clerks. Deliver a support service to the Nursing Component and the institution. |

Senior (or equivalent) Certificate. |

|
Shortlisted candidates could be subjected to practical test. Only applicants within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post. |

|
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to work shifts (overtime, weekends, public holidays and night duty) when required. |

Remuneration:
|
R 257 508- R 303 339 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
