| Computer literacy. Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of pest and infection control. Knowledge of applicable legislation and policies or nutrition and different diets or large scale food preparation according to standardised recipes. Knowledge and ability to handle industrial equipment. Good interpersonal communication, organisational and writing skills. Ability to work according to the rules or standards and to meet deadlines. Literacy with sound numerical skills. |

| Senior Certificate (or equivalent) + Food Services Certificate. |

| Strategically supervise the Food Service Unit. Control operational food services. Implement and check hygiene and occupational health and safety. Implement financial management. Implement the principles of Human resources. Check the maintenance and control of apparatus and equipment. |

| Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Ability to do physical tasks. |

R 173 703- R 204 612 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
