Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Accurate capturing of patients data on Clinicom system. Admit, attend and disposal of patients details as per PGWC Hospital Fees policies and procedures. Accurate collection, safekeeping and deposit of state money. Ensure availability of patient folders at reception areas. Phone Motor Vehicle Accident Hotline to report hospital admission and capture AFCT reference number on Clinicom and patient folder. Schedule appointments (new, follow-up & operation) on system.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and effectively within a team. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and care under pressure. Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape and good interpersonal relations skills.

Remuneration:
R 173 703 per annum - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
